I suggest to innovate the buying system with credits. And the value of 1 credit will be different, depending on that how many credits does a customer buy.
For example:
If I want to buy 50 credits, the value of 1 credit will be 1.45$
If I want to buy 500 credits, the value of 1 credit will be 0.95$

2.
Bigger profit for users who use your affiliate program, to urge people advertise and try to find new users for Buy Stock Network.
For example:
6% from every purchase
3% from every sale
instead "10% from every sale they make for a full 12 months"
That way every user will try to find more as possible people who will buy and sell through Buy Stock Network.

Minimum price of a product.
For example:
Put a minimum price of 5$ for each upload.

I have serious and very thought trough proposal and I hope you really think about this.

* Whenever you start a new marketplace or site like this, invite people to a close beta before you 'open the doors' . That means that you would give out special user names and passwords to people and let them generate some content. The site should look like it does now, but it should just be locked for the beta.
So, important thing is that you invite people to generate content and make them feel special that they are selected for this(but don't go too far).

*Now, how do you do all this? Well, if you're thinking to purchase a mailing list, don't. 90% on that list will have no idea on how to create 3d models,websites etc. My advice would be, go to other online marketplaces and invite people. Send them PM, saying that you like their work and that you would like them to participate in this new, hot marketplace where they could potentially earn more than now or similar. THERE IS NO SHAME IN THAT! You know, when you starting out or when it's not going so well, you need to do something. And I strongly feel that the above is the best way to do it. They (other markets.) have already done hard work for you. They've gathered all this great talent at one place. And it's not like they have exclusive rights to them or som. Those people will take every chance they have to earn some extra cash. I now couple of great sites that you should look at and try to contact people.

* Organize monthly competitions for artists. Something like "The one who makes most sales in <this&that> will get extra money on their account" or something similar. It doesn't have to be same style of competition every month. It's good to keep things fresh and come up with new creative stuff. Like, you could have a sponsored give-away for the best selling guy/girl. Like vouchers for Amazon,eBay,iTunes store or something like that. That will motivate people to make more cool and quality stuff and do they're best to generate sales and earn more money + win the prize.

* Offer them more in the beginning. Bigger percentage of sales money. Otherwise they will think it's not worth it.

* So, now you have artists, site is full with great content. But who is gonna buy it? Who does need these things? What kind of people are your target?

Lets think about this. Who would use these products? Sometime that would be professionals that are stuck, or can't make som. or have no time so they will buy things to work faster. Sometimes people would buy stuff for their projects. But, most of the time people who'll buy these things are beginners or students or not-so-experienced people or people who like to do for example 3d modeling but can't create som. so they'll buy it and put it all together. Beginners(Just regular folks) would buy stuff because they don't have budget to pay someone to make them website, so they'll buy piece by piece and put it all together.

So, try to advertise to those kinds of people.

It's always important to get new members to create new content,so it's good idea to advertise on blogs,sites that offer tutorials on how to make stuff that they could sell here. Take advantage of that. Also maybe advertise on Facebook. Set your ad to appear only to people/groups that are into 3d modeling and design etc.

* BE EFFICIENT WITH YOUR ADVERTISING! You are paying for it, so i guess you don't want that money to be wasted, right? What do I mean? Well, why would you show your ad on Google/Yahoo/Facebook etc. during night, when everyone is sleeping. Google for example has great settings where you can set when,where,how,to who you want your ad to appear. Use those thing to the max. They are only there to help you.

* So, now you when people come in and start buying, artist will create more stuff, people will buy, and artists will make again. And so on, and so on. And then suddenly, you have a successful marketplace.And then just keep it rolling. Keep advertising, but not so much. And most important, keep it fresh. Add new things, new functions, look to the site.

There you go, I hope you really take this stuff seriously, because I think it's very good, cost-effective way to grow and get bigger.

1. I really like the design of the site, its a great marketplace. What I would suggest is to get more files and make a big catalogue of files. BuyStockNetwork marketplace at this moment is very good, but lacks the talent and working people and developers.
I suggest turning the markeplace more "open". For this you should add social-networking links, share links, product feeds for authors.
I would consider selling more of my music and flash sites if I would get a bigger exposure here.

2. You should make a couple of contests, like best gallery ( with a 1 month development time ) and pay the winner a sum, usually above average, in order to rise the user base.

3. I think at this moment you should make a markeplace for Wordpress Themes. They sell the most. I would certainly do such a marketplace, if I would have the time.

4. Make a video / presentation / office marketplace. Sell things like videos, fx, word templates, powerpoint templates, flash presentation templates.

5. Make the design less cluttered. There are too many unimportant elements on this page. It should be light, direct the user towards the products. The products should be the most contrasting in order to get in front.

6. Make a t-shirt or other small objects template marketplace. I am not talking about a clone of Cafepress, only the design someone would sell, the print would be clients responsibility.

Anyway, the most important thing about BuyStockNetwork is that is should promote itself and make more contests, create the userbase ( maybe using blogs and forums ).

Advertise your network to local companies/stores/individuals and enhance your advertising strategy in general.

You could try this: Step one: Create a contest for each marketplace, authors need to make an item (template, gallery, brushes ..) the best file wins a prize. This will encourage authors to be more active and contribute to the community, and encourage new authors to sign up. Step two: Submit the winning items to blogs (dedicated to web design, like smashingnetwork), allow them to redistribute these files for free but credit you as the authors and link back to your network, or even better to the original author's profile giving them more exposure and potential buyers.
